I knew I wanted a unique logo for my company in college. Comparing my prior logo (left) to my present logo (right) has changed my approach to designing and generating future works. In my previous logo, I combined the letters C and D to represent my first and last names, Carlos DaSilva Jr. With my design logo, I tried the same strategy as my name logo. As my portfolio increased and my painting style became more expressive, I wanted to alter my logo to reflect my current approach. The redesigned logo keeps the connecting line flowing into the letters C and D but adds vivid colors and smoother curves for depth and life. As my design style has evolved, the new logo's cleaner lines represent a stronger, more approachable look. My prior logo and the current one show my creativity evolving and improving over time.
